The generally used technology of testing the instantaneous load of the crushing cavity is the amount of actual ore beneficiation testing technology. The load of a crusher affects the product size and the energy consumption of the crusher, and affect the normal operation of the crusher as well, thus, the users should promptly detect the load of a crusher. In the multi-stage crushing of a crusher, the detection generally aims at the load of a crusher in the last stage of the controlling final product size, in which stage the crusher is usually working in a closed system. The amount of the feeding materials into the crushing section include the previous crushing stage and cycle loading amount.

The load testing of the last stage mainly include the following four methods:

1) Use the contact sonding device directly indicating the material level of the crushing cavity, through we will know the load.

2) Test the current value in the motor circuit of the crusher;

3) Use the belt conveyor scale and other weighing belt conveyor to convey the materials into the crusher, which we can read the delivery throughput directly;

4) We can also know the load by the calculating the cycle load of crushing, screening closed-loop system.

The former two methods directly reflect the size of the instantaneous load in the crusher cavity. The two methods have the characteristics of testing convenient, easy to adjust in time and can compose a automatic control systems with the automatically adjusting device. As with the third method, it has the former two advantages besides it can not directly reflect the crusher cavity load. However, it need to add a device of the dressing plant. When the particle size of the feeding materials is too large, the weighing accuracy of belt conveyor scale is low, so this method is little used. The fourth method can only reflect the average load of a crusher in a period of time, which can not achieve timely regulation.
