China Magnetic Separator Walking in the Forefront of The World
A stationary magnet system with several radial poles attracts the magnetic material to the drum face. The rotating cover then carries the magnetics from one pole to another, at the same time rotating the magnetic particle to allow trapped non magnetics to free fall. This should then produce a clean magnetic product completing the magnetic separation process. Wet drum separators have three basic designs that work with 3 different types of application, they are concurrent, counter flow and counter current.Magnetic Separator' align='left' width='300' />

Within the last several years there has been a renewed interest in wet drum magnetic separators used for heavy media applications. Accordingly, the wet drum magnetic separator has been re-engineered for heavy media applications. This is due largely to the increasing costs of magnetite. A wet drum magnetic separator that was once viewed as a necessary on-going expense may now be viewed as an avenue to significant cost savings to the operation. The dual effluent system allows for high concentrations of coarse and nonmagnetic contaminants (grit) to be processed and at the same time produces a clarified water stream suitable for direct recirculation to the rinse screen. This offers the potential for significantly improved medium recovery. Medium intensity, permanent magnets for Ilmenite concentration or removal of fine iron from powders. High Gradient Magnetic Separator is to separate magnetic & non-magnetic particles (concentrate & tails) from the feed slurry. This feed comes from intermediate thickener underflow pump through Linear. Tailings go to tailing thickener & product goes to throw launderthrough vacuum tanks.
