What does the combination feeding machine consist of?

Screw feeding machine has spiral spoon(s).At the end of spiral, there are replaceable spoon mouths. A center hole in the side is interlinked with the hollow shaft of the feeding side. From the hole, ores is delivered into the ball mill. Screw feeding machine is divided into three types: single spoon type, double spoon type, and three spoon type. Screw feeding machine is mainly used in feeding wet ores.

Combination feeding machine consists of drum feeding machine and screw feeding machine . It can be used not only in feeding dry ores but also wet ores(the returned material of Classifier). It is mainly used in the first-phase closed-circuit grinding. Besides, combination feeding machine makes it convenient to add extra steel balls into Ball Mills .Thus, combination feeding machine is also used in the second-period grinding. Generally speaking, combination feeding machine is used more widely that the others.The ore hardness reflects the features in ore’s formation and ore’s physical& mechanical properties. It is hard to crush ores of compact structures, tiny crystals and high hardness. Thus, it need more time to crushing so as to reach the required ore fineness in grinding. But usually, it affects the mill’s capacity. It is easy to crush ores of low hardness and the processing capacity of ores per unit volume is also high. Since the hardness of ores is an unchangeable factor, we should adopt an positive attitude in the production, to high hardness ores. For example, we can find out the operation conditions, such as discharge concentration and the amount of returning sand by testing. Ores should be reduced to as small size as possible in crushing system. Besides, the best ratio of steel balls to ores should be found out if the size condition is steady.
